Murphy Platero is a Navajo silversmith whose unique jewelry is showcased in many fine galleries. His one of a kind pieces feature his own unique stamp work and the finest turquoise stones that he personally selects.Murphy was born in Crownpoint, New Mexico. His mother is a Native American silversmith who is renowned for her beautiful stamped feather jewelry. Murphy learned to silversmith from his mother and has perfected his craft. One of his more unique designs is called “Rainwater.”
